Staff Research Scientist

Jillian Greene joined ARI as a staff research scientist in September 2020. Her main research area is focused on algorithm and software development. Jillian works frequently with artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning for object detection. She has worked on various projects, including aircrafts and hazard detections.

Jillian earned her Bachelor’s in Mathematics from University of North Texas, and her Master’s in Mathematics from Washington University in St. Louis. Jillian joined ARI because she was drawn to the creativity approach to problem solving at ARI. She finds value in working on projects that have direct impact and results.

With a diverse group of researchers at ARI, Jillian enjoys learning and talking with people of various backgrounds and knowledge. During her time at ARI, Jillian wishes to expand research on AI explainability and the black box. In the future, she hopes to gain more experience in grant writing and get involved with the proposal development at ARI.
