Jessica Mingee

University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign student Jessica Mingee has been awarded the Illinois Distinguished Fellowship. Jessica is working with ARI's Dr. Ann-Perry Witmer and is interested in how engineering design and societal context intersect in environmental projects. Jessica also wants to investigate how to design sustainably while being mindful of the social, political, economic, and cultural implications of engineering decision-making. She will be joining a team from ARI on an upcoming trip to Bolivia as a research assistant.
