Great Lakes Coastal Resiliency

Anthropogenic forcing of climate change has led to an increase in frequency and intensity of extreme climate events, including storms and flooding. Such changes have lasting social, ecological, and economic effects on the surrounding coastal communities. Contextual Engineering will be implemented to identify sustainable shoreline stabilization and coastal resilience techniques appropriate for different communities along the Great Lakes.
